Ray Quinn Loses His Hat
Mon March 02 2009, 10:35:09
Well…what can we say about last night’s performance - remarkable skating but it seems the hat got the better of him!
So it is harder to dance and skate with props, as Ray Quinn showed us on last night’s Dancing on Ice. His skating was virtually immaculate, except for the little stumble near the beginning of the performance but his work with his prop, the infamous Hat, was not quite up to Ray’s usual high standard.
“When it gets the wind, it’s all over the place,“ Ray explained to Philip Schofield after his performance. Wind? It is true that working with lighter props does have an extra element of risk attached to it as the movement of the dance does create disturbances in the air that can affect the movement of the props.
We reckon Ray could have done better and probably did do during rehearsal but it’s on the night that the performance counts. Better luck next time Ray.
